Dedicating one’s entire life to the service of humanity is a calling, a vocation that only the truly blessed can. On 2nd August 2022, the entire staff and students of St. Mary’s College, Bela congregated to wish the correspondent, Very Rev. Father Stanny Periera a Happy Birthday and to invoke God’s choicest blessings upon him. The programme commenced with a special prayer. The entire gathering welcomed with sweet words by Ms Nabeesath Mehnaz. Rev. Fr Rithesh Rodrigues, the guest faculty of MCom section applauded the celebrant by expressing his sterling qualities. On behalf of the staff and students Rev Fr Anil Avild Lobo the principal of the college felicitated the correspondent with a soulful rendition word and prayed to God to strengthen him to execute his duties towards God and humanity.
Very Rev. Father Stany Pereira cut the delightful sweet birthday cake and shared his joy with the whole congregation. He thanked the staff and the students for organizing the meaningful celebration. Also, he applauded the students for being so exemplary in their behaviour during the function. The programme came to an end with the Vote of Thanks by Ms. Benita DSouza III Bcom. The entire programme was compeered by MS. Jeeva II Mcom.
