Anti Drug Awareness Rally

NSS Unit No. 77 of St. Mary’s College, Bela organized an Anti-Drug Awareness Rally on 7th July 2026, Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The rally was conducted for a duration of 2 hours, starting from St. Mary’s College, Bela and proceeding through Bela Junction towards Seethangoli side and back to the college. A total of 50 NSS volunteers actively participated in the rally holding placards and banners with slogans such as “Say No To Drugs, Yes To Life”, “Drugs Destroy Future”, and “Choose Life, Not Drugs”. During the rally, volunteers raised awareness slogans and distributed leaflets to the public and shopkeepers to spread the message of a drug-free society. The main objective of the program was to educate students and the general public in the Bela-Seethangoli area about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle among youth. The rally concluded at the college with an anti-drug pledge taken by all volunteers. The program was successfully coordinated under the guidance of the NSS Programme Officer and helped in creating strong awareness in the locality.
