‘Things end but memories remain forever.’
St Mary’s College, Bela celebrated its Alumni get-together on 19th February 2023, Sunday at 2.30 p. m. Nearly 100 alumni along with their families gathered at the college auditorium to relive the moments they had spent in the campus during their college days. The inauguration of the event was conducted by well-known Ayuvervedic Doctor and Gadinada Kannada activist Dr. Vanishree. In her inaugural address appreciated the alumni for joining together and forming the Old Students association under the title “SMCIANZ MILAN”. Rev. Fr. Anil Avild Lobo, the principal presided over the gathering. In his presidential address he congratulated the students for being binding with the college even after their studies at its campus and wished good luck for their future endeavors. Alumni recognized the successful members of their team: Mr. Raju Stephen Crasta (Indian Army), Adv.Abdul Naser,Adv. Prakash Rao, Ms. Saharanya-KSEBstaff and Mr. Naveen- Kerala police and honored them. Later the present students performed the cultural events, conducted fun games and few of the representatives came forward and reminisced their golden days which they spent along with their seniors,friends and junior in the serene and beautiful campus of the college. The renowned ABCD DJ added the glory to the event where all the alumni stepped together with joy and fun. Mr.Vincent D’Souza and Mrs. Uma the staff coordinators, Mr. Prashanth, the president, Mr.Amith the vice-presidet and Mr. Jithilesh, the treasure of alumni associationwere also present on the stage. Mr. Amith welcomed the gathering and Mrs. Jasmine Sony delivered vote of thanks. Mr. Nishanth compared the whole event.
