'Swachatha Abhiyan' at my town.
The NSS unit of St Mary's college, Bela, organised a cleanliness drive, at Seethangoli, a junctional town 2.5 k.m away from the college premises, on the 31st of March 2021.
Mass awareness was created and the creative participants signified the importance of the hygiene in making the town eco friendly and plastic free.
The students & the faculties were segregated into 2 groups & actively took part in cleaning the town.
The Swachata Abhiyan was concluded with a stage programme. It was presided over by the correspondent of the college V. Rev. Fr. John Vas. Mr Johnson Puthige village Extension officer was the chief guest. V. Rev. Fr Anil Avild Lobo , the principal welcomed the gathering. Mr Anoop, the NSS coordinator organised the jaatha along with Mr. Vincent , the vice-principal. Mr Sreekanth, a NSS memeber compered the programme.
