The Freshers’ Day was organized on 10th October 2022 under the title "aarambham" in the college auditorium at 10.45 am. The day is meant to welcome new students into a friendly atmosphere and to encourage their creative impulses to boost their confidence. It is the day where seniors and juniors finally unite to celebrate being part of the college.
At the very outset God’s grace was invoked by the students through a melodious prayer song. There was a fabulous welcome dance by 2nd year students which added colour to the program. The program was inaugurated by lighting up lamp by the Chief Guest Mr Ashwith S. Karanmayil, the Inspector of Police, Badiadka Police Station. The Principal Rev. Fr. Anil Avild Lobo was the president of the program. Mr. Abdul Ashik, the student representative from III BBA welcomed the gathering. The Chief guest addressed the students and urged them to follow a right path to build a successful life. He also instructed the students not to indulge in ragging and drugs. Guest of honour Rev. Fr Rithesh Rodrigues addressed the students and wished all the successes in their future endeavours. Rev. Fr. Anil Avild Lobo delivered the presidential address. Mr. Vincent D’Souza, the vice principal and the faculty coordinator Mrs. Uma were present on the dais. Ms. Vishaya 2nd MCom Student proposed the vote of thanks. The program was compeered by Krishna Kripa of 3rd BCom.
The seniors exhibited manifold talents by their stunning performance and melodious voices. Games were organized to make the event more interesting and livelier. The event was concluded with a intriguing DJ dance.
