St.mary’s College,Bela celebrated it’s Annual Day on 20th December 2019 in the Yathri Hall,Bela Church premises.Chief Guest Mr.Pushpakaran G Bendichal(Head of the Department of BBA Peoples Co-operative Arts & Science College,Munnad), Mr.John Crasta(Vice President, Parish Pastoral Council Bela church),V.Rev Fr John Vas(Correspondent ,St.Mary,s College),Fr.Ashok Rayan Crasta (Principal of St.Mary,s college),Mr.vincent D’Souza(Vice principal),Mrs.Uma C.N(Staff secretary ),staffs, students along with their parents were present for the event.
The programme was commenced with the prayer and welcome dance performed by the students.Principal Fr.Ashok Rayan Crasta extended a warm welcome to all the honourable guests and the gathering.The programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries. Staff Secretary Mrs.Uma read out the college annual report through powerpoint presentation.
The prize distribution ceremony was held, in which the students were awarded with prizes and certificates by the chief guests. After this ,a very motivational speech was delivered by our respected chief guest Mr.pushpakaran and Mr. John Crasta.The Presidential Address was given by the Correspondent Rev.Fr.John Vas.
The official programme was ended by deliverying vote of thanks by Vice Principal Mr. Vincent D’Souza.
The students came up with a variety of cultural programmes which added color to the glorious event and was a feast to the eyes for the audience.
